Robert has been a practicing accountant for the past 14 years. In 2006 he became a partner of Pinnacle Taxation Services where he met John, as he acted as John's accountant and advisor.

Robert knew of John Maclean as he grew up in the Penrith District and followed John's Story. Rob remembers his first meeting with John. Rob walked up and extended his hand to shake hands. John stood up out of his wheelchair, with which Rob quickly remarked “You can stand?" John in turn said "Robert there are a lot of things I can do".

Rob states that it is this ’Can Do’ attitude that makes John such an inspiration and positive influence on many lives through The John Maclean Foundation. “I feel privileged to be part of a team that delivers, to kids with needs, the support they deserve”.
