Sydney to Melbourne
From October 22 - 29, 2007, 30 riders will cycle from Sydney to Melbourne in order to raise $300,000 for the John Maclean Foundation. These funds will go towards the purchase of 100 new wheelchairs for young Australians in need.
Taking in Nowra, Bateman's Bay, Merimbula, Eden, Lakes Entrance, Sale and eventually Melbourne this will be one of the most scenic and rewarding charity rides ever conducted.
John Maclean will be participating in the ride and each day we will be stopping en-route to present new wheelchairs to special young Australians.
To participate in this ride, riders must commit to raising a minimum of $5,000 per person, which are fully tax deductible donations to the John Maclean Foundation.
