11 time Ironman finisher, Paul has been a Financial Services Executive with Heritage Bank for 15 years, Australia's largest customer owned Bank, with almost $8 billion in assets under management. Paul has responsibility for all of the customer facing business including, Branches, Agents, Mortgage Brokers, Insurance, Contact Centre, Business Banking, and Financial Planning. His passion for work, triathlon and life in general, makes it easy to stay motivated. He attributes being part of a great team as the reason for his success.

Paul's skills include strategic planning, sales management, and leadership development. Paul is a strong communicator, and presenter. He is regularly used to present to diverse groups, and run conferences. His key strength is driving leadership throughout the organisation and develop senior leaders.

Paul has always followed John's story. After reading John's first book 'Sucking the Marrow Out of Life' Paul booked John to speak at one of his conferences. Before Paul knew it, he was raising funds for the Foundation. "John's story is an incredible one of getting back into life, sporting achievements that are immense, friendships, and giving back through the Foundation. How could one not be inspired".

Paul assists in any way he can to realise John's vision in giving back to young Australians in wheelchairs. Firstly as a JMF Fundraiser ($33,000 thus far) and now as part of the JMF Board.
